Post-Surgical Approach to Rehab for Hip Injuries

Over the past 15 to 20 years, the prevalence and diagnoses of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) and hip joint injury has dramatically increased. Treatment options and surgical procedures have evolved, as well, and there are numerous options to consider. However, there are few published evidence-based studies dedicated to postoperative rehabilitative care for the athlete who undergoes hip arthroscopy. One proposed method involves following a criterion-based rehab program and using goals to progress through each phase of recovery and return to play. This webinar will discuss the steps involved with this method and how it can lead to improved rates of return.
